I haven't had a chance to do this yet with a class, but www.timetoast.com is a website where one can do a timeline. I would have my students enter significant (or not so) events of their lives using past tense verbs. We can also include pictures. I could then take those past time verbs and make a wordle.
This class has really opened my eyes to the possibilities! I hope that we all keep blogging and sharing!

Loved your timeline! I think that would be a great tool for teaching past tense verbs to our students. Getting the students to upload pictures would be a feat, but their dates could certainly be put in. Maybe they could find pictures online that they could use to at least represent those memorable moments in their lives. Let me know if you do this with a class. I'd love to know how it works out.
